Q. I was using Thunderbird to send and receive emails with my THERS Mail account, but I suddenly started getting the error message: "User is authenticated but not connected." I can no longer send or receive emails. What should I do?
A. It seems that disabling IPv6 resolves the issue.
Please follow the steps below to change the settings.
- Click the Settings icon (gear symbol) in Thunderbird.
Scroll down to the bottom of the settings page and click Config Editor.
Click Show All to display "all preferences".
In the search bar, type "network.dns.disableIPv6".
- Click the "Toggle button (arrow icon)" to change the value of "network.dns.disableIPv6" to "true".
