Q. Where can I check the outgoing (SMTP) server settings in Thunderbird?
A. To check the outgoing mail server (SMTP) settings in Mozilla Thunderbird.
1. Start Thunderbird, Click "Settings(gear)" at the bottom left of the site screen, then select "Account Settings".
2. Once the Account Settings window appears, scroll down and click "Edit outgoing server...".
3. The Outgoing (SMTP) Server Settings window will appear. Please ensure the settings match those shown in the image below.
*When setting up a THERS email address, do not enter the THERS email address (e.g., tokai.taro.x9@mail.f.thers.ac.jp, @s.gifu-u.ac.jp, @s.mail.nagoya-u.ac.jp, @mail.a.thers.ac.jp) as the "Username". Enter the THERS account (e.g., ab.12c.3456@f.thers.ac.jp, @s.thers.ac.jp, @a.thers.ac.jp).
