Q. Is the THERS account issued separately from the Nagoya University ID and individually notified to each user?
A. The way in which the Nagoya University ID and THERS account are provided may differ depending on the timing of enrollment or employment.
■Individuals who enrolled or joined the organization on or before March 31, 2023
【Nagoya University ID】
The Nagoya University ID password notification (postcard) is distributed through the academic or administrative office of each department.
【THERS account】
Notifications are not issued in the form of postcards or printed materials.
Please contact the THERS Account Help Center. (request form).
■Individuals who enrolled or joined the organization on or after April 1, 2023
For those who enrolled or started employment on or after April 1, 2023:
The THERS Account Notification Letter (sealed envelope) includes both the THERS account information and the Nagoya University ID with its password.
For faculty and staff, the letter is distributed by the personnel or general affairs office of the affiliated department.
For students, it is distributed by the academic affairs office of the respective faculty or graduate school.
Please check with your affiliated department for details.
* Individuals who applied for individual use of the THERS account after February 2024 also receive the notification letter.
*Those who applied before February 2024 should contact the THERS Account Help Center.
*Nagoya University Emeritus Professors do not receive the notification letter. Please contact the THERS Account Help Center for assistance.
