Q. I was employed as a part-time lecturer for the first semester only in the previous academic year. This year, I am also employed for the first semester only. Can I continue to use the same THERS account from last year?
A. The same THERS account can be used.
However, if re-employment occurs more than 91 days after the previous departure, the password and multi-factor authentication settings will have been reset.
The same THERS account will be reissued upon re-employment.
However, please note that the "pre-departure account" and the "post-reemployment account" are entirely separate accounts, even though the same email address is reused.
Therefore, data stored in Microsoft 365 prior to departure will not be carried over.
