Q. I want to edit and save Word or Excel files stored in OneDrive, but I see messages like "SIGN IN REQUIRED — We can't upload or download your changes because your cached credentials have expired." or "Please sign in ( )" and cannot edit or save. What should I do?
A. This error occurs because of file conflicts between OneDrive and Office applications.
Please try the following steps:
- Open Word or Excel, click the account name icon in the top-right corner, and then click "Sign out".
- Make sure the account name icon in the top-right now shows "Sign in".
- Close Word or Excel.
- Open Word or Excel.
- Click the "Sign in" button next to the message "SIGN IN REQUIRED — We can't upload or download your changes because your cached credentials have expired.".
- Sign in using your THERS account.
