Q. How can the site administrator check and change it?
A. Please check the following steps with the site administrator (site collection administrator).
- The site administrator is typically the creator of the site. Even if they are removed from the Site Owners group, they retain full control permissions over all content within the site as a Site Collection Administrator.
- Users registered as "Site Collection Administrators" can check who the site collection administrators are.
- Open the site.
- Settings (gear) > click "Site permissions" > "Advanced permission settings" link.
- Click "Site Collection Administrators."

If you need to change the site administrator due to personnel changes or other reasons, please update the "Site Collection Administrators" as described above.
