Scope of users
Article 2: The following persons are eligible to use the service.
- Faculty members of universities and affiliated schools of the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System (hereinafter "THERS").
- Students, research students, and others approved by the faculty of national universities established by the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System (THERS).
- Other persons deemed appropriate by the Director General of the Headquarters.
User Fees
Article 6: The amount of user charges for using the service shall be as set forth in the Appendix.
- User charges shall be paid by the user. However, if approved by the Director General of the Headquarters, a party other than the user may make the payment.
- In principle, payment of user charges shall be made by budget transfer or internal transaction.

Fees already paid are non‑refundable.
Appendix related to Article 6

| 50 GB or more and 500 GB or less | ¥40,000 |
| 500 GB or more and 1 TB or less | ¥80,000 |
| 1 TB or more and 5 TB or less | ¥400,000 |
(1 TB = 1,024 GB for conversion)
How to apply
To request additional storage capacity, please submit your application using the form below.
*Please enter the following information: the expansion target, payment budget details, payment budget manager, and the applicant (proxy applications are permitted).
*The payment budget manager must be a full‑time university faculty member.
*When the application is successfully received, a confirmation email will be sent to the expansion target, the payment budget manager, and the applicant.
*The application period for fiscal year 2026 (April 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027) is January 2026 to December 31, 2026.
*If you wish to continue using the service next fiscal year, an annual renewal application is required.
