Steps to Register Microsoft Authenticator Using a Smartphone Only.

Q. How can I register the Microsoft Authenticator app using only a smartphone?

A. Please follow the steps below to complete the setup.

1. Install the Microsoft 365 Copilot app on your smartphone.
2. Launch the Microsoft 365 Copilot app.
3. Tap "Sign In".
   
4. Tap "Next".
    
5. "Enter your THERS account (e.g., @f.thers.ac.jp, @s.thers.ac.jp, or @a.thers.ac.jp) and your initial password, then tap "Sign in".

7.  Tap "Next".
   
    
8. After tapping the link that says "Click this link to pair your account with the app", tap "Next".
   Note: When you tap the link to pair your account with the app, the screen will not change.
   
    
9. After confirming the two-digit number displayed on the screen, enter the same number in the authentication screen and select "Yes".
   
    
10. On the notification approval screen, tap "Next".
    
    
     
11. Set your phone number.
