Q. I’m having trouble linking my THERS account with the authentication app. Do you know what might be causing the issue?
A. If the setup is correct, the problem might be due to a timeout during the authentication process.
*From January 2025, the name "Microsoft 365" was changed to "Microsoft 365 Copilot".
When setting up multi-factor authentication for a THERS account, it appears that the authentication process may time out if the web browser screen on your computer is left inactive for a certain period (approximately 5 minutes). The setup page is as follows:

If you're having trouble setting up multi-factor authentication, one possible cause could be a timeout during the authentication process.
If the setup process does not proceed as guided, please try accessing the Microsoft 365 Copilot Home page again. (Please be careful not to uninstall the app or delete the already configured Microsoft Authenticator account.)
If a timeout has occurred, you will be prompted to sign in again. After signing in, please restart the operation.
