Scope of impact:Some of the newly hired faculty and staff effective April 1, 2026
Cause of incident:
Due to the fiscal-year transition, there was a temporary shortage of A3 licenses because there was a timing mismatch between reflecting personnel changes such as retirements, transfers, and new hires and automatically assigning/unassigning Microsoft 365 licenses.
Status:
Regarding the shortage of Microsoft 365 licenses, the necessary adjustments have now been completed and the issue has been resolved.
You can use the service as usual.
To prevent the same issue from occurring in the future,
we will make prior adjustments that take into account staff changes during the fiscal year transition,
review the process for reflecting personnel information and adjusting licenses,
and work to provide more stable service.
