A. It is not possible to use email as an authentication method when signing in to Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Email is available as an authentication method for Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR).

There are two authentication methods that can be configured when signing in to Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- An authentication app installed on a smartphone or tablet (such as the Microsoft Authenticator app)
- A phone number (landline or mobile phone)
