Q. What should I do with the Microsoft 365 Copilot app installed on my work PC when I transfer to a different position?
A. Please sign out of the desktop app before your transfer. Uninstalling it is not required.
*From January 2025, the name "Microsoft 365" was changed to "Microsoft 365 Copilot".
＜Forgot to sign out＞
It's fine to sign out from a device other than the PC you're transferring; you don't need to do it from the original PC.
- After signing in to the Microsoft 365 Copilot Home, click "Install apps" and select "Microsoft 365 apps".
- On the "My account" page, select "Apps & devices" and click "DEVICES".
- Verify the device name and click "Sign out".
- When the "Sign out of Office on xxx?" dialog appears, click "Sign out" to complete signing out of the desktop app.
